Macedonia dramatically increased its chances of qualifying for the Handball World Cup in Qatar 2015 after drawing the southern neighbor of Greece .
Macedonian players did not hide their satisfaction of the drawing, as the neighbors were the weakest opponent from Pot 2. "We'd take on the Greeks any day, much better than drawing Sweden or Poland" says Macedonia's coaching staff.
Although favorites on paper, Macedonia will still have to prove their worth on the court. First game will be played in Greece on June 7/8th, while the rematch is scheduled for June 14/15 in Macedonia.
