Macedonian citizens to travel to Ukraine without visas

Macedonian nationals can travel visa-free to the Ukraine for a short-term stay up to 15 March 2013.

The Ukrainian President passed the decision over the visa annulment, aimed at practical achievement of the principles of good neighborly partnership between the two countries, intensification of bilateral contacts in all areas, and liberalization of mutual travel, the Ukraine’s Embassy to Skopje said in Thursday’s press release.

According to the decision, Macedonian nationals staying in the Ukraine up to 90 days within 180 days from the day of the first entry shall enter the country only with passports, without the need to possess other documents stipulated in the bilateral agreement on mutual travel. The visitors are only obliged to have travel insurance and sufficient funds for the stay.

The decision shall not apply to nationals who enter the Ukraine with the aim of finding a job or other activities within a stay exceeding 90 days, reads the press release.
