Macedonia was more indebted in the early 1990 before the dissolution of the then federate Yugoslavia, than it is right now, the daily says. Despite the popular belief that the debt is increasing a comparison shows than then the public debt was 44,7 percent of the GDP and now it is 36 percent, the daily says.
