President of HNS, Davor Suker, who today is visiting the FFM, expressed support for the idea of a regional club competition our federation offers.
Croatian Football Association, Davor Suker is visiting the Football Federation of Macedonia to seek support for entry into the UEFA Executive Committee in the wake of the Congress to be held before the end of this month.
Suker praised the idea of FFM for regional football tournament and expressed the hope that it will be implemented in the near future.
"You are our great friends, Ilco is my friend and collaborator, as former active players our common is the need to be helpful for projects and activities that promote football in this area. I hope to get support from your house in voting for the UEFA Executive Committee and will thus have the opportunity to push the conditional smaller federations. You presented an excellent proposal Regional Club competition that in the near future can become a reality and be in a certain way driver of the football in this region "- Davor Suker.
President of the FFM, Ilco Gjogjioski expressed satisfaction with the meeting with Suker and his position on the regional competition.
"Davor Suker is our dear friend and it is a pleasure that today he is guest in the" House of Football ". We are in a joint committee in UEFA and we discuss proposals, activities and ideas that can contribute to the development of football, especially in this region. Cooperation between the two federations is high. For us it is very important that the first people of HNS welcome and have positive comments on the proposal submitted to UEFA club competition regionally because everyone in the region is facing the same problem - reduced number of viewers of the stadiums, lack of interest for domestic championships few international matches. I hope that mutual cooperation will bring many positive results, we will always support people for who the football is in the first place "- President of FFM, Ilco Gjorgjioski.
