Exchange of experiences and knowledge, encouraging and strengthening the educational, practical, scientific and technical cooperation in the field of information science and computer engineering, is provided by the Memorandum of Cooperation between the University of Information Science and Technology “St. Paul the Apostle” in Ohrid and the company “Wedell IT”.
The purpose of the memorandum is to formalize cooperation between the University and “Wedell IT” and to create conditions for joint work in professional and scientific projects, implementation of the internship program for students, presentation of practical experiences, and promotion of educational activities, and the application of field of information sciences and technologies by the signatories.
- Collaboration between the University “St. Paul the Apostle” and “Wedell IT” primarily is focused towards creating conditions for sharing common goals in the area of information sciences and technologies and opens up great opportunities for the realization of joint projects that promote the advancement of higher education policies and their approach to the IT industry, as opportunity for establishing relation at the global level,” said prof. Dr. Ivan Bimbilovski, the Vice Chancellor for Finance, Investment and Development at the University “St. Paul the Apostle.”
“Wedell IT” is Danish company specialized in creating highly talented and professional teams in the IT field, led by management team comprised of experts with international experience. So far, with more than 200 employees in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the company decided to choose Skopje as the first option for upgrading its existing work. The new branch of the company will expand access of “Wedell IT” to a larger market by offering opportunities for transferring the business activities of its European customers in Macedonia.
