Macedonia's Minister of Interior, Gordana Jankuloska, said enhancement of international cooperation, exchange of experience and ideas would boost traffic safety on Macedonian roads at today's meeting with Joop Goos, Head of the International Road Safety Organization "La Prevention Routiere Internationale" (PRI).
At the meeting, Minister Jankuloska said the hitherto cooperation between Macedonia's Interior Ministry and the National Council on Road Traffic Safety is excellent, as shown by the numerous joint projects and activities over the past years.
She, furthermore, underlined that the enhancement of the international cooperation, the exchange of experience and ideas would boost traffic safety on Macedonian roads.
Goos announced that Macedonia will be the hosting the world congress of this international organization, which is to be held in May, the Ministry of Interior said in a statement.
Over the past few days, the PRI head attended the "Week of Pedestrians" campaign activities, dedicated to the safety and education of pedestrians.
