Poposki visits Spain



Foreign Affairs Minister Nikola Poposki pays Tuesday a working visit to the Kingdom of Spain, where he is planned to meet his Spanish counterpart José Manuel García-Margallo y Marfil.

Interlocutors are expected to discuss issues related to the overall development of countries' relations and cooperation as well as ways to improve them, MoFA said in a press release. Talks will also focus on Macedonia's aspirations to join EU and NATO. Country's hopes for Spanish strong support in the integration process is expected to be conveyed.

Poposki will also meet with Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee at the Spanish Congress of Deputies, Josep Antoni Duran i Lleida.

During his visit, FM Poposki will deliver a lecture "Macedonia and the EU" at the Elcano Royal Institute.
