Macedonia's Economy Minister Valon Saracin, together with the Director of the Macedonian Bank for Development Promotion (MBPR) Dragan Martinovski and President of the Economic Chamber of North-West Macedonia Menderes Kuchi, visited the bakery and mill "Pekon" in the village Chelopek, Brvenica Macedonia.
"Pekon" owned family Ademi, a user MBPR through two loans, one in the amount of 147,000 euros for the purchase of equipment from Italy, and second of 100,000 euros for the purchase of additional equipment for the production of bread and bakery products, which are due for two years. The company plans to increase production of bread so far whose capacity is 3,000 pieces per day and nearly double the capacity of the mill.
- These loans have increased our capacity, production of flour has increased from 30 tonnes to 70 and increased the number of employees, said owner says Yusuf Ademi.
According to Macedonia's Minister Sarachini the interest of companies like "Pekon" is a good signal for the domestic economy as a growing number of companies are interested in these cheap credit lines.
- The European Investment Bank provided about 100 million euros this year and has already collected 78 million for 1171 new jobs. The remaining 22 million will be realized by the end of the year. We are negotiating with the same bank for next year to provide the same credit line, said Sarachini.
He urges businessmen to use the advantages offered by the state, this time favorable loans from Shareholders. Earlier this month, he said, were withdrawn and the sixth and seventh tranche in the amount of 100 million euros. The sixth tranche for SMEs worth 6.241 million euros to support 29 projects.
