Klaus Augenthaler candidate for Macedonian coach?

Sources within the Macedonian FA claim Klaus Augenthaler is a top candidate to take over the coaching position at the Macedonian national team, which became available after Mirsad Jonuz was fired two weeks ago.

Gjoko Hadzievski, Gjore Jovanovski who were considered to be the main candidates for the job refused to take over a sinking ship! Instead, Hadzievski went to coach a club in Saudi Arabia, while Jovanovski simply refused to coach the 'primadonas' that is the Macedonian national team.

Apart from Augenthaler, candidates are also Croatian legend Miroslav Ciro Blazevic, Chede Janevski, Zoran Stratev and others from Turkey and Bulgaria.

There is no question Augenthaler is a legend in German football, played for the German national team, as well as coached leading clubs Bayer Leverkusen and Wolfsburg.

Implementing the German mentality in Macedonian football is without question much needed at the moment. But can Augenthaler do it? Is he aware he will be coaching players who talk on their cell phones while practicing for the national team (they were spotted in Ohrid in preparation for the Ireland match which we lost).

If Augenthaler is able to bring six or seven German players with him, Macedonia has a chance!
