Darko Tasevski Quits National Team

As fans long suspected Welsh Manager John Toshack isn't the coach of the Macedonian national team.

The FFM did a fine job of selecting someone who knows nothing about Macedonian football. The Welshman was brought in more as a pion so to say, not really to pick or manage players, rather to just receive a salary and enjoy his retirement days in Spain. The FFM and Babunski will do the selecting of new players based not on skills, but on friendships, and politics... the usual!

People were shocked when Mario Gjurovski was dropped from the squad even though he was by far the best midfielder.

Another bombshell today.

Darko Tasevski (Levski Sofia) was also dropped from the squad???

Tasevski was seething at a press conference two hours ago.

"I thought by getting a new coach we would be more stable, more organized... but no, it's the same old misery in the national team" says Tasevski adding "Toshack came to me and told me I will wait for them in Skopje, he told me this through Babunski who acted as his interpreter. Toshack saw me practice once and decided I wasn't good enough?" asked Tasevski. The Levski player said he is going back to Sofia and will never play for the national team again.

The good news is Velice Shumulikoski is still part of the squad, he is in the starting eleven. The Sibir Novosibirsk player who should never be near a round object in general is deemed to be better player than Gjurovski and Tasevski.

Toshack, or as the Macedonians call him "Tashak", got himself a good deal as the coach of the national team. He receives a coaching salary, but isn't the coach. Sweet!
