Kosovo Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned late Friday’s attack on Macedonian Embassy in Pristina.
- We assess this act of vandalism as fully unacceptable and harmful for friendly relations between our two countries. We demand from investigative organs as soon as possible to clear up the case and perpetrators of this heinous act to be brought to court, reads the press release of Kosovo Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The press release also emphasises the strong determination of the Kosovo institutions for strengthening the good-neighbourly relations with the Republic of Macedonia.
Molotov cocktail was thrown last night at around 23 hours on the Macedonian Embassy's building in Pristina. There were no injured persons in the attack only material damage was caused, Kosovo media reported.
Three persons in white “Toyota” vehicle threw the Molotov cocktail. Police officer, who was at the place of the event, prevented bigger damage.
Macedonian Embassy’s building was stoned last week after the protest organised by a radical group and Unikomb party.
Macedonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemns late Friday’s attack on Macedonian Embassy in Pristina and expects clearly and undoubtedly Kosovo authorities to find and adequately sanction the perpetrators.
If this continues, it wouldn't surprise anyone if Macedonia nullifies the recognition of Kosovo as a "country".
