The US analyst Umberto Pascali in an interview with PORTA, a program on the Macedonian TV (MTV) commenting the latest developments in Macedonia concerning the organised protests for the death of Martin Neskoski, assessed that it is propaganda war and people are being used as cannon fodder.
- I would address the Macedonian young to follow their thirst, their passion for truth and to make research by themselves and to discover who is hiding behind this obvious operation, Pascali said.
The US analyst and expert on developments in the Balkan region including Macedonia, explains how such operation as war of information is being conducted.
- The biggest organs of western powers are being used from the British Economist to different branches of Soros (financial power), to Anglo-American intelligence (Voice of America) and main Internet controllers (Google). As in many colored revolutions, the scenario is very simple and very primitive. The goal, the Prime Minister, who has recently won the elections, to be presented as 'evil' and people as 'oppressed' who are protesting, Pascali said adding all of the opposition media in Macedonia is currently financed by Soros.
A perfect example is the three pro-opposition (nameless) articles that appeared in the Economist in the last four months. All three were sent out from the Soros offices in Skopje.
According to him the protesters are being taught to use tactics of uniting in groups via Internet, Twitter, Facebook and support of the large media financed by financially powerful persons. The murder of the young boy during the celebration of election victory of VMRO-DPMNE is only an introduction, Pascali explained.
Answering the question what are the causes of such protests, Pascali says – successful politics of PM Gruevski and President Ivanov in enlargement of sovereignty and independence of Macedonia. Macedonia is, Pascali said, friend to all not a slave to certain power. Macedonia builds good contacts not only with Western powers but also with Russia, China and Turkey.
PM Gruevski implement politics of active diplomacy and economic exchange and trade with every country interested in this. For example energy policy for South Stream, the Corridor 8. The independence and the sovereignty are the most important capital, which Macedonia must defend but someone does not want independent Macedonia, which does not have other owners and chiefs, Pascali added.
Facebook takes action
Earlier this morning, Facebook had shutdown numerous Facebook groups initiated by the opposition (SDSM) where it instructed its membership to protest. The very same groups who were protesting against the Government few months ago, are now using Neskoski's death to once again promote their agenda
