There is little chance that banks would finance a project in times of crisis. However, businesspeople can turn to another form of support - business angels, also known as venture capitalists, says the head of Pikon Group Tose Kocevski.
These Business angels or VCs, who provide capital for staring up a business, appeared in Macedonia six months ago.
Apart from getting financial support, creating a new business idea is the key factor in setting up business. Experienced and successful businesspeople in Macedonia see enormous potential in young businesspeople in the country, but they say perseverance and the use of foreign experience is very important.
