Austrian group Steiermaerkische Sparkasse has invested fresh EUR 15 million for increase of the Sparkasse Bank Macedonia capital, which now amounts to EUR 25,4 million.
According to the bank management, the investment would strengthen the bank's position on market, along with the possibility to support a number of projects.
"We want to use this capital for two goals - strengthening of the bank's balance quality and enhancement of the bank's market position", said Tuesday Sparkasse Bank Macedonia board chairman Srdjan Krstic.
The Steiermaerkische Sparkasse group has approximately two million clients and 6,000 employees, including the 299 in Macedonia.
