LORSCH. Im Rahmen des regelmäßigen Austausches zwischen der deutschen Polizei und internationalen Kollegen, hatte jetzt die Lorscher Ordnungsbehörde Besuch aus Mazedonien. Mit Brigitta Kocoska (Bild) war eine Ermittlungsbeamtin der Polizei Skopije zu Gast in der Karolingerstadt. Begleitet von Christel Shelton, die in der Präventionsabteilung der Polizeidirektion Südhessen arbeitet, und vom Leiter der International Police Association Bergstraße, Josef Simon, informierte sich die mazedonische Polizeibeamtin auch in Lorsch über den Alltag ihrer hessischen Kollegen. Während des insgesamt zweiwöchigen Besuches in Deutschland lernte sie verschiedene Aufgabenbereiche kennen. In Lorsch interessierte sie besonders die Zusammenarbeit der Stadtverwaltung und örtlichen Ordnungspolizei mit den Kollegen auf der Autobahn. Hungary’s PM Viktor Orban called for the EU-Macedonia accession negotiations and urged for a NATO membership invitation for the country. Orban, who was presented with the United Macedonian Diaspora (UMD) Goce Delcev Award in Hungary’s Parliament, added that the name talks with Greece cannot obstruct Macedonia’s Euro-Atlantic integration. “Macedonia has committed itself to EU and NETO membership, got prepared, completed all the necessary tasks. That’s why it’s understandable why the Union and the North-Atlantic Alliance are building such a “debt” towards the Balkan. Despite admitting that Macedonia is ready to join, it still does not start the negotiations with it,” he stressed.

Bei der Auslosung wurde Metalurg Skopje in die Gruppe A gelost, und wird auf den THW Kiel treffen. Vardar Skopje landete dagegen in der schwierigsten Gruppe und wird sich mit den Rhein-Neckar Löwen messen. Metalurg Skopje trifft in Gruppe A auf  den THW Kiel aus Deutschland und Paris St. Germain aus Frankreich, RK Zagreb aus Kroatien, Naturhouse La Rioja aus Spanien und noch ein Qualifikant. Vardar Skopje muss gegen den Vorjahres-Vierten MKB Veszprem (Ungarn), den slowenischen Meister RK Celje, Medwedi Tschechow (Russland), Montpellier AHB aus Frankreich und den Rhein-Neckar Löwen aus Mannheim antreten. Bei der Auslosung in Wien zur Frauen Handball Champions League wurden dem WHC Vardar Skopje folgende Mannschaften in Gruppe B zugelost: Budocnost aus Montenegro und  der Thüringer HC aus Deutschland, für die Damen aus Skopje kein unbekannter Gegner.  Dritter Kontrahent in der Gruppe B wird der Sieger der Qualifikationsgruppe B mit den Teams aus Midtjylland (Dänemark), Trondheim (Norwegen), Podravka (Kroatien) und Radnicki Kragujevac (Serbien).  Der Coach des deutschen Teams, Müller sagte nach der Auslosung: " Schwerer geht's nimmer. Der makedonische Fußballverband FFM hat in zusammenarbeit der UEFA und dem Entwicklungsprogramm Hat-Trick für Veles einen neuen Kunstrasenplatz eröffnet. Der größte chinesische Zughersteller CSR hat am Dienstag einen Vertrag mit der nationalen mazedonischen Bahngesellschaft über den Kauf von sechs Hochgeschwindigkeitszügen unterschrieben. Es ist das erste Mal, dass ein europäisches Land Züge der CSR kauft. Bei der U18-Weltmeisterschaft der weiblichen Jugend startet die deutsche Mannschaft am Sonntag, 20. Juli, gegen Gastgeber Mazedonien in die Vorrunde. Weitere Gegner der Gruppe C in Strumica sind Dänemark, Usbekistan, Rumänien und Argentinien. China's biggest train maker CSR signed a contract on Tuesday with the national railway company of Macedonia to sell six bullet trains to the European country. It is the first time China South Locomotive & Rolling Stock Corporation (CSR) has made sales in Europe. The trains will be made in accordance with national standards of Macedonia and international standards, with a designed maximum speed of 140 km per hour and a life of 30 years, according to Xie Hongbing, an engineer of CSR Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive Co., Ltd. High-speed rail has become a talisman for modern China. A video of a Chinese bullet train was shown in Times Square, New York this year. Premier Li Keqiang has promoted high-speed rail technology during his many overseas visits, including his recent visit to Britain. Behind the "high-speed rail diplomacy" is China's attempt to shift from labor-intensive manufacturing to become an innovation hub for high technology.

The main elements of the path of green growth is spanning across all sectors, with emphasis on the person water, agriculture, overcoming the challenges of adapting to climate change, energy and transport. Die Telekom Austria Group hat heute die Übernahme des größten makedonischen Kabelbetreibers blizoo Makedonien bekannt gegeben. Der Betreiber bietet neben Kabel-TV auch Festnetztelefonie und Breitbandinternet an. Über den Kaufpreis machte Telekom-CEO Hannes Ametsreiter bei der heutigen Bekanntgabe des Deals keine Angaben. The city of Ohrid is to sign a twinning agreement with the city of Podolsk, Russia. The agreement is expected to bolster the cooperation between the two cities in various fields, especially in tourism. Podolsk is located in the Moscow Oblast, and has population of 187,961 people (2010 Census). Thus far, Ohrid has established international cooperation with many cities such as Budva, Katwijk, Plovdiv, Safranbolu, Windsor, Seongnam etc.

Horizont Turnovo, Metalurg and Shkendija have learned their opponents in the first qualifying round of UEFA Europa League.  Horizont Turnovo will face Georgian side Chikhura Sachkhere, Metalurg will play against UE Santa Coloma from Andorra and Shkendija will be playing against Zimbru Chisinau from Moldova. Turnovo's opponent Chikhura have ended on the 4th position last year and also played in the Georgian cup final where they have been defeated by champions Dinamo Tbilisi. Damit können neben Österreich, Bulgarien und Kroatien künftig auch in Mazedonien Festnetz und Mobilfunk aus einer Hand angeboten werden, teilte die Telekom Austria heute mit. Blizoo Mazedonien hat aktuell 63.000 Kunden, davon 47.000 Breitband-Kunden. Der Umsatz lag 2013 bei circa 10 Mio. Euro. Die Telekom Austria Group wird den Kaufpreis aus dem Cashflow finanzieren. Die Europäische Handballföderation hat die Setzliste für die VELUX EHF Champions League veröffentlicht ( zur Übersicht ).  In Lostopf 2 und 3 wurden nur nationale Meister gesetzt. Die zweite Losreihe bilden KIF Kolding Kopenhagen (Dänemark), Metalurg Skopje (Mazedonien) , RK Celje (Slowenien) und US Dunkerque (Frankreich). Die makedonische Nationalmannschaft der Volleyball Herren traf am Wochenende in der zweiten Begegnung der dritten Spielrunde in der Gruppe B der Europaliga auf die Türkei. Die Begegnung in Skopje endete mit einer 3-0 Sieg der makedonischen Volleyballnationalmannschaft. Unser Team hat damit den fünften Sieg im fünften Spiel errungen! Im Hinspiel in der Türkei gewann unser Team mit 3-1. Somit steht die makedonische Volleyballnationalmannschaft in den Top 4 der Europaliga, obwohl noch nicht alle Spieltage der Vorrunde absolviert sind. Am nächsten Spieltag hat das Team um Trainer Ristovski spielfrei.

Macedonian-Bulgarian Business Expo Days will be held Monday and Tuesday in Stip and Kocani, organized by the Macedonian-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce, the Stip and Kocani Municipalities, the Center for Development of the East Planning Region and “Goce Delcev” University in Stip. The first day of the event will include debates on cooperation and complementarity between the two economies pertaining to the possibilities for joint placement and conquering third markets and financial potentials of the banks for development of Macedonia nd Bulgaria for crediting export-oriented companies. The second day of the event which will be organized in Kocani will include a debate on how authorities to initiate joint cross-border cooperation projects and activities. The deputy prime ministers of both countries are expected to attend and address the Macedonian-Bulgarian Business Expo Days event.

The current development of investments and business contacts between Australian companies and the Macedonian economy are a solid start for future cooperation and influx of Australian capital into Macedonia. This was the conclusion of the Friday’s meeting of Macedonia’s honorary consul in Perth, Australia, Zoran Coseski and the Foreign Minister of Australia Julie Bishop. In 2013, price levels for consumer goods and services differed widely across member-states, an Eurostat report reads.  Price levels at about 30% to 35% below the average were observed in the Czech Republic, Latvia and Slovakia (all 71%), Croatia (68%) and Lithuania (65%), and levels at about 40% below in Hungary (60%), Poland and Romania (both 57%). The lowest price level was found in Macedonia (47%). Denmark (140% of the EU28 average) had the highest price level, followed by Sweden (130%), Luxembourg and Finland (both 123%). Price levels of 10% to 20% above the EU28 average were found in Ireland (118%), the United Kingdom (114%) and the Netherlands (110%), while Belgium and France (both 109%), Austria (107%), Italy (103%) and Germany (102%) had levels less than 10% above the average. RK Vardar Skopje hat vom EHF eine Wildcard bekommen und ist nun direkt für die Gruppenphase der EHF Champions League qualifiziert, ohne die Qualifikation für die Gruppenphase spielen zu müssen. Der neue alte Ministerpräsident Mazedoniens, der Chef der nationalkonservativen VMRO-DPMNE (Innere Mazedonische Revolutionäre Organisation-Demokratische Partei für die Nationale Einheit), Nikola Gruevski, hat heute, Donnerstag, dem Parlament sein Regierungsprogramm und bereits sein viertes Kabinett seit August 2006 vorgestellt. Based on the signed protocol of Macedonian-Polish mixed commission on international transport of passengers and goods by road, signed on 30 May 2012 in Skopje and based on the exchange of diplomatic notes between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Macedonia and the Republic of Poland, on 23 June 2014 come into force amendments to the Agreement on International Road Transport between the Governments of the Republic of Macedonia and the Republic of Poland, the Ministry of Transport and Communications informs. Johnson Matthey and Johnson Controls boost Macedonian exports. According to the TIRZ CEO Viktor Mizo, by the end of the year foreign companies operating in the free economic zones will achieve exports worth over € one billion, lider.mk writes. “Johnson Matthey is the number one exporter in Macedonia, not only from the zones. This company in May exported goods worth over € 90 million, which is an absolute record for them. By the end of the year, Johnson Matthey will achieve even greater results for monthly exports even more than € 100 million”, Mizo says. In the center of Tetovo today will be opened the REM mall, an investment worth € 40 million and will be the largest trading center in western Macedonia.  Shefki Idrizi, director and owner of “Renova” is investor of REMall. How does a common Macedonian citizen feel when SDSM's VP Radmila Sekerinska will earn 1,000 euros monthly severance pay for an entire year, even though she has already submitted paperwork that she earns 5,000 euros per month in rent, for which she doesn't pay any tax. Wie aus der Ministerliste, welche der designierte Ministerpräsident Nikola Gruevski (43) dem Parlament zustellte, hervorgeht, soll Zoran Jolevski, der bisherige Chefverhandler im Namensstreit mit Griechenland, der wichtigste Neueinsteiger werden. Der Diplomat übernimmt im Namen von Gruevskis VMRO-DPMNE den Posten des Verteidigungsministers, der bisher von einem Funktionär des kleinen Bündnispartners, der albanischen Demokratischen Integrationsunion (DUI) bekleidet wurde.
