Cervar is the coach of Macedonian champion "Metalurg", which has achieved the biggest success in the club's history since his arrival in 2009.
The team has qualified for the Top 16 stage of the Champions League for the second year running.
Lino Cervar won golds at the 2004 Olympics and the 2003 World Championships with Croatia's national team, as well as silver and bronze at the WC in 2005 and 2009 respectively. Moreover, he won two silvers at the 2008 and 2010 euros.
