The number of live births in the third quarter of this year, compared with the same period last year, increased by one percent and is 6377, State Statistical Office announced today.

In the third quarter of this year there were 4555 deaths, compared to the same quarter of last year a decrease of 0.7 percent. Of the total number of deaths 71 are infants.
The natural increase is 1.844 people. In the third quarter there are 4392 concluded marriage, 0.6 percent more than the same period last year.
Divorces in this quarter of the year see an increase compared to the same period in 2013 and their number is 506.
