Macedonian GDP growth 2.7 percents
The growth rate of gross domestic product (GDP) in the last quarter of 2014 was 2.7 percents, today announced the State Statistical Office (SSO).
In the last quarter of last year, the highest growth of 12.4 percents was recorded in the sectors of professional, scientific and technical activities and administrative and support service activities, followed by “Arts, entertainment and recreation”, “other services”, “Activities of households as employers “,” activities of households that produce different goods, and perform a variety of services for their own needs “of 11.7 percents,” construction “of 11.1 percents and” Financial and insurance activities “of 3.8 percents.
Household final consumption including non-profit institutions serving households, in the fourth quarter of 2014, was nominally increased by 2.5 percents, and its share in the GDP is 65.8 percents. In the same period, exports of goods and services was nominally increased by 14.8 percents, and imports of goods and services increased in nominal terms by 9.7 percent.
